For more than a century, the Advertising Club of Western Massachusetts has recognized exceptional advertising, design, and creative work made in our region. Now, in 2020, we invite our community of illustrators and videographers, strategists and designers, copywriters and photographers, to come together and kick off a new decade of amazing creative work in Western Mass.

Award show goes digital.

The COVID-19 crisis has forced all of us to change the way we live and work -- and this year's
Creative Awards is no exception. In order to keep us all safe AND celebrate a year of amazing
creative work, the Ad Club of Western Massachusetts announces the following changes:

 

New Submission Deadline
AND REDUCED FEES

To allow you time to collaborate with coworkers remotely, we've moved our deadline to May 1 with
ENTIRELY digital submissions; no physical entries will be accepted. We have also reduced our
submission fee to $30 for members and $70 for nonmembers.

New! Entry Fees & Payments:

  • Ad Club Member: $30 per entry
  • Non-member: $70 per entry
  • Student: $20 per entry - Student ID required
  • Become a member today and take advantage of discounted submission fees.

 

2020 Creative Awards will be
ANNOUNCED DIGITALLY

Although we've made the difficult decision to cancel this year's physical awards show, we will
announce this year's winners on May 21 at adclubwm.org. We'll also post an online gallery of all of this
year's submissions, as well as videos of our judges announcing this year's top awards.
(You'll have to buy your own drink, unfortunately.)

Once state and federal officials determine it is safe for us to do so, we'll announce an event
to toast this year's 2020 Creative Awards winners and give us all the opportunity to meet up once again!

     Kevin Mann is a Creative Director working in upstate New York. An industry veteran with 30+ years of experience, Kevin has worked at big agencies like Leo Burnett Worldwide and eventually started his own firm, Campdesign. Kevin has worked on a wide range of clients — from small nonprofits to national brands like Johnnie Walker, McDonald’s, Keebler, and Kellogg’s. Kevin also served as an Adjunct Professor of Advertising at the esteemed Newhouse School at Syracuse University — the #1 communications program in the country. He has over 200 students working and excelling in the ad world and beyond.
     

Anna Rubino is the Strategic Design Leader at BIC, where she collaborates with a variety of teams to drive standout creative work and translate competitive data and customer feedback into award-winning visual strategies. For two decades, Anna has built her career in the for-profit and nonprofit worlds by creating award-winning work for Costco, Dollar General, Staples, Target, Hobby Lobby, Wal-Mart, and Sam’s Club — along with numerous community initiatives and local nonprofits like The Get In Touch Foundation’s crusade against breast cancer.

     

Robert Comire is currently Group Creative Director at Cigna, where he leads strategy and creative teams for Cigna's award-winning in-house agency. His teams are responsible for brand strategy and integrated campaign development across all channels for the Fortune 100 healthcare company. Prior to Cigna, Robert made stops on the agency and client-side working for a variety of iconic brands including; Gatorade, Hallmark, Kellogg’s, LEGO, MillerCoors, MTV, Nickelodeon and Wendy's. Robert’s work has received industry recognition from AIGA, Ad Club, American Advertising Federation (ADDY's), CLIO Awards, Communication Arts, Graphis and HOW Magazine.
